Getting Back to Basics
When we have the desire to live our purpose and passion in life, we oftentimes discover that it is extremely useful to start with established basics in place. What do I mean? I am referring to getting your mind and body in shape so you can have the willpower and energy necessary to do the things you really want to do.
Healthy Brain, Body, & Mind
It is vitally important to keep your brain healthy so you can think clearly, create useful goals, make necessary plans, and accomplish what you envision for your life.
Here are some things you can do to make your brain healthier
Eat healthy organic food
Protein – RawSport
Protein – Organic pasture-raised beef or chicken, wild-caught fish
Eggs
Vegetables
Fruit
Nuts, seeds
Supplements
Many supplements give your body the nutrients that you are not getting from your food. Some that I take daily include the following.
Vitamin C, D, E, Zinc
Multivitamin
NAC
NMN – Lifeforce
Methylation – Lifeforce
DHEA – Lifeforce
Spirulina Tablets – Energy Bits
Chlorella Tablets – Energy Bits
PF5 Detoxifier
Master Peace Zeolite Toxin Remover
Water
Clean healthy water is a must
Structured Water/EZ water
In the last few years, though, it's become clear that there's a fourth phase of water called structured water, or exclusion zone (EZ) water, that is viscous like honey, somewhere between solid and liquid. EZ water is the water your cells use, and it's very different from the water coming out of your tap.
Meditation
Calms and centers your mind
Allow your intentions to create your reality of optimal health, productivity, positivity, connection
Exercise
Heavy weightlifting assists your body in producing more human growth hormones
Aerobic exercise energizes your body, increases oxygen intake
Yoga increases balance and core strength
Healthy Relationships
Our relationship with others is very important as our friends and family often have a strong impact on how we feel and how we spend our time. Occasionally, we may find ourselves in relationships with people who bring us down, people who insert unwanted negativity, or even impact our own personal progress or life mission. When we allow this, we can get derailed, sometimes for months and years.
Oftentimes we can learn crucial life lessons from these experiences. Review these lessons and put them to work in your life so you don’t have to experience the same negativity over and over. Once you learn the needed lesson, it becomes vitally important to be present, support your inner growth, and allow people into your life who are also committed to progressing personally and spiritually. Doing this will keep you on track with what you need to do in your life.
Thoughts & Emotions
Many people think that they cannot control their thoughts or emotions. They think these things are outside of their control. That is not the case. We choose what we focus on, we choose what we think about. Our thoughts then create the emotions that we feel.
Thoughts and emotions have strong energy. They can uplift or they can destroy. It is imperative that you learn to focus your thoughts onto what you want in your life if you are interested in progressing.
There is a book called “Power vs. Force – The Hidden Determinants of Human Behavior” by David R Hawkins and it talks about the energy of different words. This author muscle tested the energy of different words and set a numerical value for the energy of those words. For example, the word “shame” has a low energy rating of 20 while the word love has a higher energy rating of 500. The word “enlightenment” is the highest with the rating of 700-1,000.
All of this talk about thoughts and emotions and the energy these produce makes it important for us to consider these things:
How you want to feel
Who you want to be
What you want to do
Where you want to live
Where you want to work
What business you want to build
What impact you want to have in the world
What relationships you want to have in your life
Setting Intentions & Goals
It is important to set intentions every day, otherwise, life just kind of happens to you. When you set intentions for what you want to do, go, take care of…then you tend to accomplish those things. If you don’t set intentions for the day, you will be more easily carried away by the things that “just come up” and you won’t usually have the day you wanted to have.
Setting goals is similar. If you structure your goal setting in a way that you do a bit each day, it keeps you on track and you feel the sense of progress that is important to keep you motivated.
Healing
We all know that life can be difficult and seeking healing can be a very effective way to clear up emotional issues. There are many different avenues that one can take. I recently had a healing from a facilitator at Starmagichealing.org and I’m pleased with the work that they did for me physically and emotionally. I’ll speak more in future newsletters.
Affirmations
Affirmations are a great way to encourage and support yourself along your journey of healthy and growth. Below are some you might want to try.
Take 3 deep, long, slow breaths from your tummy (not your chest) and say out loud
“I love my body and support it with healthy choices”
“I choose to be with people who love and support me”
“I choose to goals and intentions for things that matter to me”
Thank You!
